A headland in Seaton Sluice jutting into the North Sea. Site of an old Coast Guard lookout, now converted into a seawatching hut by the Northumberland & Tyneside Bird Club. Good for seabirds and waders, with viewing of flypast birds to seaward. Among the birds you can observe are Eider, Zwarte Zee-eend, Grote Zee-eend, IJseend, Jan-van-gent, Noordse Stormvogel, Grauwe Pijlstormvogel, Noordse Pijlstormvogel, Scholekster, Bontbekplevier, Steenloper, Kleine Jager, Grote Jager, Grote Stern, Dougalls Stern, and many more. Occasional IJsvogel in winter in the burn mouth.

Toegang
Park on Collywell Bay Road, accessed off Links Road (A193). Walk to Kings Arms and cross to 'Rocky Island' over footbridge. Access to the seawatching hut is by key only to members of the Northumberland & Tyneside Bird Club, but if someone is already in, visiting guests are usually welcome, knock on the door.
