In Wormwood Scrubs you will see an array of the usual urban UK species, such as Pimpelmees, Koolmees, Staartmees, Putter, Groenling, Heggenmus, Merel, Ekster, etc. It is also the site of an enormous Halsbandparkiet roost, as well as holding a large number of Zwarte Kraai.
Winter will usually have Roodborsttapuit and Graspieper. Spring and summer will bring Zwartkop and usually both Grasmus and Braamsluiper. Migration often sees Tapuit and Paapje. Scarcer passage migrants in 2021 included Beflijster, Sprinkhaanzanger and Gekraagde Roodstaart.

There is a small carpark, but several tube stations are a few minutes walk away. The nearest to Wormwood Scrubs is the tube station of East Acton.
