Description
Asserbo Plantage is a beautiful forest located in North Zealand in Denmark. The forest has area of about 1400 hectares and is known for its lush trees and rich birdlife on the hilly terrain. Among many other birds can be seen Svartspett, Flaggspett, Fuglekonge, Kjøttmeis, Blåmeis, Vaktel, Svarttrost, Svartmeis, Ringdue, Skogdue, Gransanger, Skjære, Dompap, Løvmeis, Kortklotrekryper and Trekryper. Raptors can also be seen, and breed in the area: Musvåk and Hønsehauk.

Asserbo Plantage is located in North Zealand, 60 km northwest of Copenhagen, near the town of Asserbo. From Asserbo drive along the road Nyvej, and you can park your car at the parking lot. Press P on the map for directions. The circular walking route shown on the map is about 5 km.
