Description
The Deixilfurter See is the main lake in a series of small lakes surronded by mature woodland. It is easy to walk around the whole lake and offers a mix of good woodland and wetland birding throughout the year. In winter, Snadderand and Laksand can be found on the lake and in summer there is breeding Grågås, Toppdykker and Rødhodeand. Rørsanger can also be heard singing in the reedbeds around the lake in the summer. In the surrounding woodlands, it's possible to see Rødtoppfuglekonge, Kortklotrekryper, Toppmeis, Løvmeis and Granmeis at different times of the year.
