Description
Zalew Szałe is a good place to observe migrating ducks, such as Brunnakke, Stjertand and Krikkand. On the reservoir itself, you can spot many species of gulls, divers, and grebes, such as Storlom, Kaspimåke and Fiskemåke, which breeds here. Rarities such as Hvithodeand, Lappspove and Polarmåke have appeared on the reservoir.
Szałe isn't just a reservoir, it encompasses everything surrounding it. In the surrounding Winiary forest, you can spot interesting species like Svartspett, Trelerke and Trekryper. Sandsvale and gulls nest readily on the slopes near the reservoir, and in the local fields, you can observe Vipe and Vendehals. I hope I've encouraged you to observe this incredibly important place for the region. See you at Szałe.
