Description
The mouth of the Riera de Ribes stream can be found at the end of the seafront in Sitges. The most interesting ornithological aspect of the site are the seabirds, with interesting species like Middelhavsmåke, Svartehavsmåke, Splitterne, Toppskarv, and Havsule. Some rarer species that can be seen are the Gulnebblire, Middelhavslire and Balearlire. In winter Siland has been seen several years.
In the reeds Cettisanger, Rørsanger, Vatreastrild, Sivspurv, and Svarthodesanger can be heard and seen. Aquatic species like Stokkand, Silkehegre, Kuhegre, Gråhegre and Isfugl are present in the water course.
Close to the mouth of Riera de Ribes is the Golf Club Terramar, and the greens are good to look for birds like Svartstrupe, Heipiplerke, Svartrødstjert, and Hærfugl.

The mouth of the Riera de Ribes is located at the seafront in Sitges, and can be reached by car, or by walking if you are in Sitges. You can park right there (click on the P on the map for further directions).
