This is a great place for migrant waterbirds and other lake birds! A lot of rare birds visit this island each year and there is always something interesting to see! Most rarities turn up in April, May, September or October.
Wintering waterfowl including Smålom, Gråstrupedykker, other Grebes, several species of Duck, including Havelle. Migrating waders in spring and autumn, including Tjeld, Stylteløper, Avosett, Sotsnipe, Hvitbrystlo, Tundralo, Steinvender, Lappspove and many more. Also Dvergmåke, Myrrikse, Svartterne, Hvitvingesvartterne and Hvitkinnsvartterne and raptors and passerines pass over this spot.
