Description
The area around Errwood Reservoir is a good site for many upland woodland species such as Svarthvit Fluesnapper, Rødstjert, Trepiplerke and Gråfluesnapper and the best time to visit is in spring when the birds are in song. Bøksanger is also present some years. Strandsnipe, Dverglo and Mandarinand can be found around the southern end of the reservoir itself and Lirype and Storspove are common on the surrounding moors. Fossekall and Vintererle inhabit the stream to the south of the reservoir and several species of raptor can often be seen in flight over the valley.
