Description
RSPB The Oa is home to many important breeding and wintering birds, including Alpekråke, Kongeørn, Myrhauk, Vandrefalk and occasionally Åkerrikse. During the winter months the reserve is very important for wintering Tundragås and in particular, Bergirisk. With The Oa reserve hosting likely the largest wintering flock in the UK. Kongeørn is present throughout the year, soaring above the cliffs and moors.
