Description
From the hides (one is two-storey) at Stanwick Lakes one can see Makrellterne, Tårnugle, Kuhegre, Silkehegre, winter wildfowl such as Snadderand, Skjeand, Brunnakke, Krikkand, Stjertand and Taffeland. The woods and scrubland have Svartstrupe, warblers, Rødvingetrost, Gråtrost, Gråsisik and Grønnsisik.

Stanwick lakes is between Kettering and Bedford. It is 300 yards west of the A45 Stanwick roundabout. Click on the P in the map for directions. Parking charge is £3.80 for all day
