Opis

The Cranberry Peatlands Interpretive Trail features a 2 km boardwalk and informational signage on the myriad flora and fauna which exist within the bog. The trail ends at a viewing platform with expansive views of the surrounding wetlands. Bird you can observe include Trumpeter Swan, Ruffed Grouse, Sandhill Crane, Wilson's Snipe, Northern Harrier, American Kestrel, Common Raven, Sedge Wren, Veery, Cedar Waxwing, Swamp Sparrow, Nashville Warbler, Palm Warbler and Red-winged Blackbird.

The Cranberry Peatlands Interpretive Trail is located at the west end of Whitmore Road in Alberton, about 12 km west of Fort Frances. Press P on the map for directions.
