Gravière Vogelau is a former gravel pit, now transformed into a landscape featuring ponds and wetlands. Many kormoran and krzyżówka are seen throughout the year, often with bernikla kanadyjska and some gęgawa. In winter, czernica and krakwa are common, and sometimes świstun and even rożeniec are also seen.

Gravière Vogelau is located 8 km north of Strasbourg. From Strasbourg, take the road heading north towards Schiltigheim. You can park along the streets. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. Best to explore the area on foot.
