Tourbières de l'Herrétang is one of the largest peat bog complexes in the region and is recognized both as an Espace Naturel Sensible and a Natura 2000 site. You can explore the area on foot on a 3 km circular trail with bird hides and observation points. Birds you can observe include błotniak stawowy, zimorodek, czapla siwa, kukułka, gąsiorek, cyraneczka, trznadel, trzcinniczek (zwyczajny), trzciniak and kruk.

Tourbières de l'Herrétang are located between the villages of Saint-Laurent-du-Pont and Saint-Joseph-de-Rivière. Parking at the entrance to the site. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From the parking you can start a 3 km circular walk. The trail is not suitable for wheelchairs. Dogs are not allowed.
