Opis
The Knarbos Oost is a young forest area with reeds and small marshy parts. You can spot almost all summer guest songbirds there, because there are so many hawthorn bushes. For example słowik rdzawy, cierniówka, piegża and zaganiacz. In the young forest you can already find dzięcioł duży and dzięciołek. In the fields around the forest, the mornel is sometimes seen in the spring, and in the winter myszołów włochaty and drzemlik.

Nederlands: Het Knarbos Oost is een mooi, klein bosgebied met veel zangvogels. Het is een jong bosgebied met riet en kleine moerassen. Je kunt er nagenoeg alle zomergast zangvogels spotten, omdat er zoveel meidoornstruiken zijn. Bijvoorbeeld słowik rdzawy, cierniówka, piegża en zaganiacz. In het jonge bos zitten al dzięcioł duży en dzięciołek. In de akkers rond het bos wordt in het voorjaar wel eens de mornel gezien en in de winter myszołów włochaty en drzemlik.

Knarbos Oost is located south of Lelystad Airport. It is easily accessible via Vogelweg N706. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The area is best explored on foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is approximately 4 km.
