Opis

The Zuidpier is a about 1000 meter long path in the North Sea where birds are resting and where you find regular surprises mainly in the migration period. Nice birds you can see here are: świergotek nadmorski, kamusznik, piaskowiec, mewa trójpalczasta, mewa mała, rybitwa białoczelna, biegus morski. The pier is especially interesting after heavy autumn storms, because various species of seabirds can be observed here. Think of alka, nurzyk, głuptak and sea ducks like markaczka.

Nederlands: De Zuidpier is een van de bekendste hotspots voor vogels kijken in Nederland. Een 1000 meter lange pier die dus ver de Noordzee in steekt waar vogels rusten en waar je vooral in de trekperiode regelmatig voor verrassingen komt te staan. Leuke vogels die je hier kunt zien zijn: świergotek nadmorski, kamusznik, piaskowiec, mewa trójpalczasta, mewa mała, rybitwa białoczelna en biegus morski. De pier is vooral interessant na zware herfststormen, dan zijn hier verschillende soorten zeevogels te zien. Denk aan alka, nurzyk, głuptak en zee-eenden als markaczka.

You can park at the (payed) parking Kennemerstrand. From there you need to walk 15 to 20 minutes to reach the Zuidpier. Click on the P in the map for directions.

Nederlands: Je kunt parkeren op de (betaalde) parkeerplaats Kennemerstrand. Vanaf daar is het nog 15 tot 20 minuten lopen naar de Zuidpier. Klik op de P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar de parkeerplaats.
