The mouth of the Riera de Ribes stream can be found at the end of the seafront in Sitges. The most interesting ornithological aspect of the site are the seabirds, with interesting species like mewa sródziemnomorska LRcd, mewa czarnogłowa, rybitwa czubata, kormoran czubaty, and głuptak. Some rarer species that can be seen are the burzyk żółtodzioby, burzyk sródziemnomorski and burzyk balearski. In winter szlachar has been seen several years.
In the reeds wierzbówka zwyczajna, trzcinniczek (zwyczajny), astryld falisty, potrzos, and pokrzewka aksamitna can be heard and seen. Aquatic species like krzyżówka, czapla nadobna, czapla złotawa, czapla siwa and zimorodek are present in the water course.
Close to the mouth of Riera de Ribes is the Golf Club Terramar, and the greens are good to look for birds like kląskawka, świergotek łąkowy, kopciuszek, and dudek.
