Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering uszatka błotna population occurs. Also, the wintering gęś białoczelna flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the żuraw stepowy breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. kulon (zwyczajny) can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see sieweczka rzeczna, bielik, przepiórka, podgorzałka, głowienka and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as bernikla białolica which is the second record for Turkey. puchacz can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
