Opis
The area around Errwood Reservoir is a good site for many upland woodland species such as muchołówka żałobna, pleszka, świergotek drzewny and muchołówka szara and the best time to visit is in spring when the birds are in song. świstunka leśna is also present some years. brodziec piskliwy, sieweczka rzeczna and mandarynka can be found around the southern end of the reservoir itself and Pardwa mszarna and kulik wielki are common on the surrounding moors. pluszcz and pliszka górska inhabit the stream to the south of the reservoir and several species of raptor can often be seen in flight over the valley.

There is a fairly large car park in the south west corner of Errwood Reservior and from there you can take the paths and road to the south through the woods and along the riversdie path.
