Opis
At Gunthorpe Gravel Pits 120+ species of bird have been seen, including bielaczek, nurogęś and szlachar in winter, when czajka, Płaskonos and teal can be numerous on flooded fields. Spring brings trzcinniczek (zwyczajny), rokitniczka, świerszczak to breed, and rybitwa czarna, białorzytka and pokląskwa on migration. In summer, kobuz hunt swallows over the ponds.
