Opis
Mere Sands Wood is a Lancashire Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve. Keep your eyes peeled for species like gil, mazurek, dzięcioł duży and krogulec as they fly to and from their nests in the woodland. If you take a seat in one of the lakeside hides you may see perkoz dwuczuby performing their elaborate courtship ritual. zimorodek are present as well as wintering bąk. The lakes and reedbeds also support wodnik (zwyczajny), potrzos, gągoł, głowienka and more.There are multiple hides, and it's easy walking.
