Opis
The Moor Green Lakes Nature Reserve occupies 36 hectares north of the River Blackwater. A footpath runs along much of the River Blackwater and provides reasonable, but sometimes distant, views of the lakes. There are 2 hides on the reserve providing good views of the lakes. Resident birds are perkozek, perkoz dwuczuby, czapla nadobna, krogulec, czajka, pójdźka, zimorodek, potrzos, gil and kania ruda. Summer visitors are sieweczka rzeczna, śmieszka, rybitwa rzeczna and kobuz. In winter you can expect nurogęś, gągoł, bielaczek, pliszka górska and sometimes uszatka błotna. During migration birds like cyranka, rybołów, błotniak stawowy and kwokacz can sometimes be spotted.

At the western end, there is a small car park off Lower Sandhurst Road (SU 805 628), and at the eastern end, the Activity Centre car-park off Mill Lane (SU 821 620).
