Tucked away in Leicestershire, the Reedbed Nature Reserve at Watermead Country Park consists of four hides, one of which looks over the fabulous Wanlip Meadows. Spring announces the arrival of waders and the marshier area of the River Soar, viewed from the Plover Hide is great for kszyk and krwawodziób. Other waders such as biegus zmienny, kulik wielki and ostrygojad can also be seen around the reserve. rybitwa rzeczna, brzegówka, oknówka, dymówka and jerzyk all fly around the reserve in spring and summer, with the brzegówka nesting in the bank for them. Autumn is quite an interesting month for migration for more waders such as kwokacz, samotnik, brodziec piskliwy, szablodziób and sieweczka rzeczna can be viewed from around the reserve.
