Opis
The flooded former gravel workings in the Kennet valley running over four miles from south west Reading to Sulhampstead attracts birds all year round. Among the birds you can encounter are kapturka, piegża, gajówka, wierzbówka zwyczajna, kobuz and słowik rdzawy. There is a substantial population of Winter ducks, mostly dabbling, including hundreds of czernica, krakwa and świstun and the odd gągoł.
