Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve is a flat terrain with easy walking and cycle routes with some lovely hides. Come here to see and hear the booming bąk, and keep an eye out large numbers of kobuz in the Summer months. A car park with a meter is found opposite and to the West of RSPB Ham Wall, between Meare and Ashcott not far from Glastonbury or Street. A short walk will take you to various hides, and is often used by cyclists on warm days.
