Opis
On the island of Tiree 133 bird species have been seen. The freshwater Loch a'Phuill attracts waders such as brodziec śniady, mornel, kwokacz and brodziec piskliwy. In the dunes there may be poświerka, śnieguła, derkacz, uszatka błotna or świerszczak. The cliffs at Ceann a Mhara are a useful seawatch point in autumn and have breeding nurzyk, alka, fulmar, mewa trójpalczasta, kormoran czubaty and perhaps sokół wędrowny or wronczyk.

Tiree is reached by ferry from the mainland, or by air from Glasgow. The loch and cliffs are accessed from Barrapol or Balephuil in the island's SW corner.
