Descrição
The Cambodia Vulture Restaurant in the Northern Plains is one of the best places in Southeast Asia to observe critically endangered vultures like Slender-billed Vulture, Red-headed Vulture and White-rumped Vulture. Conservation organizations manage feeding stations where carcasses are placed to support the remaining populations of these three rare vulture species. With a short birding tour you have the opportunity to watch vultures gathering at the feeding site. From the Vulture Restaurant hide you can watch and photograph the birds up close.
Also you can explore the surrounding dry dipterocarp forest, home to many other special birds of Cambodia. With a visit to the area you support community-based conservation and vulture protection programs.
