Groov'sches Loch is a former clay pit that over time transformed into a natural wetland with a dense vegetation of alder and willow trees. The area provides habitat for birds like Ganso do Egipto, Guarda-rios-comum, Pintassilgo, Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Águia-d'asa-redonda, Alvéola-cinzenta, and Garça-real.

Groov'sches Loch is located on the southern outskirts of Neuss. The best place to park is in the residential area of Pomona in Neuss. From there it's a short walk to Groov'sches Loch. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
