Neuer Friedhof offers - in addition to a 'classic' cemetery park - various kinds of habitats: meadows, dense hedges, areas with mixed woodlands, wasteland expanses, dead wood and a recycling area. Many songbirds can be seen here, for example countless melro, Ferreirinha-comum, Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca, Estrelinha-de-poupa, Estrelinha-de-cabeça-listada, Carriça or Rouxinol-comum. You can also discover Felosa-icterina, Papa-moscas-cinzento, Pica-pau-mediano or even some Grou-comum during the migration period.

Neuer Friedhof is located on the western outskirts of Greifswald and is easy to access. You can park in front of it and explore the area from there on foot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
