In the lower Casamance, Pointe Saint-Georges is a small tourist site with a few restaurants and opportunities for boat trips on the river. The site is easily accessible from the small town of Mlomp. You can drive along this road at a leisurely pace and stop wherever you like to observe the wildlife, particularly from the Kagnout crossroads onward. The track is not heavily trafficked and winds through wooded savannah, wetlands, and drier areas. Numerous species are present and easy to spot, especially after the rainy season. The beaches along the river also offer excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Pointe-Saint-Georges is located in the Casamance region of southern Senegal. It sits along the banks of the Casamance River, close to where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean.
