The primary sounds are the waterfall and birdsongs. Most rooms feature large windows or verandas that look directly into the forest canopy, allowing you to spot wildlife while having tea. The homestay garden with its flowers and trees also attracts various small bird species throughout the day. It is a good starting place for nature walks.

Waterfalls Homestay is located in the town of Ella, about 1.5 km from the Ella town centre, tucked away in an area called Watagodawaththa. It is approximately a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride from Ella's main street. The approach road is narrow, steep, and can be rough for cars, especially in rain.
