The island Werdinsel in the river Limmat in Zurich is a relaxing place for birdwatchers. The area attracts various bird species because there is plenty of water, trees and dense bushes. Especially in late autumn and winter. In addition to Pato-real, Garça-real, Galeirão-comum and Merganso-grande, Guarda-rios-comum can also be observed. On the island there are small paths along the water and a few benches where you can observe in peace. You can easily get there on foot or by bike.
