Lake Norşin is a small lake surrounded by reed beds. This is a well known breeding place of Pato-de-rabo-alçado. Such small and vegetated wetlands in the eastern part of Turkey are the main breeding places of Pato-de-rabo-alçado. Also Zarro-comum and Galeirão-comum can be seen there. During the cold winters, this lake is frozen. However, it is nice place to watch the breeding ducks in spring time. Around the lake, you can visit several areas to include new species into your birding lists.
