It is a freshwater lake that seems untouched. Many water birds can be observed, such as Ganso-comum, Grou-comum, Tartaranhão-caçador, Mergulhão-de-pescoço-ruivo, Pato-de-rabo-alçado, Pato-ferrugíneo and Zarro-comum.
