Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Coruja-do-nabal population occurs. Also, the wintering Ganso-grande-de-testa-branca flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Grou-pequeno breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Alcaravão can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Borrelho-pequeno-de-coleira, Águia-rabalva, Codorniz, Zarro-castanho, Zarro-comum and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Ganso-de-faces-brancas which is the second record for Turkey. Bufo-real can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
