Dunkovytsia-Horbok fishpond and it's surroundings are an interesting place for birdwatching and especially good for seeing waders. Among the waders that are regularly seen here are Tarambola-cinzenta, Abibe-comum, Borrelho-grande-de-coleira, Borrelho-pequeno-de-coleira, Maçarico-real, Maçarico-de-bico-direito, Rola-do-mar, Combatente, Pilrito-falcinelo, Pilrito-comum, Pilrito-pequeno, Narceja-comum, Pilrito-de-bico-compridoand Maçarico-bastardo. But als other birds like herons, gulls, terns, grebes and ducks are easy to see and nice birds like Colhereiro, Cegonha-preta and Garça-roxa.
