The highest ground of Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve has Lagópode-branco, Águia-real, Borrelho-ruivo, Lagópode-cinzento, Galo-lira, Escrevedeira-das-neves and Melro-de-peito-branco. Damper ground near Loch Maree has Tarambola-dourada, Tarambola-cinzenta, Pilrito-comum, Maçarico-real, Perna-vermelha-comum and other waders. Mammals include Red Deer, Roe Deer, Sika Deer and Red Squirrel. One of the best places in Scotland to see the elusive Pine Marten and Wildcat.

Acesso
The reserve is near Kinlochewe, 88 km (55 miles) west of Inverness on the A482, and 160 km (100 miles) north of Fort William. The route marked to Beinn Eighe summit is 8 km (5 miles) each way. Wear appropriate boots and clothing, carry water, food and charged mobile phone, check weather forecast before departure.
