Coll RSPB reserve has a car park and visitor centre. Codornizão breed in the area. Coll and Tiree have one third of the UK population. Pintarroxo-de-bico-amarelo, Tartaranhão-azulado and Esmerilhão also breed. The island is a vital stopover and wintering area for arctic breeders such as Ganso-de-bico-curto, Greenland Ganso-grande-de-testa-branca and Ganso-de-faces-brancas, Mobêlha-grande, skuas, Pilrito-escuro, Rola-do-mar and godwits. Pardela-sombria and storm petrels offshore.

Coll is reached by ferry from Oban. Delays are likely. The reserve is six miles SW of Arinagour, pass the airstrip and turn left to Totronald.
