Descrição

Drumpellier Country Park offers a diverse mix of habitats, including woodlands, wetlands, open water, and grasslands, making it a fantastic birdwatching spot year-round. The park’s lochs and marshes attract Cisne-vulgar, Mergulhão-pequeno, Galeirão-comum and Zarro-negrinha, while reedbeds provide a home for Felosa-dos-juncos and Escrevedeira-dos-caniços in spring and summer. Mergulhão-de-crista can often be seen performing their courtship displays.

Woodlands around the park are alive with Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Trepadeira-do-bosque, and Chapim-rabilongo. In winter, flocks of Tordo-ruivo-comum and Tordo-zornal arrive, while the occasional Águia-d'asa-redonda or Gavião da Europa can be spotted overhead.

With scenic trails and a variety of bird species, Drumpellier is a perfect spot for both beginners and experienced birdwatchers.
