Descrição
Efford Marsh LNR (not to be confused with River Avon and South Efford Marsh - see separate entry), is sandwiched between the A38 (The Parkway) close to the North and Efford housing estate to it's South and West. The reserve is one of Plymouth's largest consisting of woodland, grassland, wildflower meadows, streams, pools and marshland. The numerous pathways are sometimes steep and are frequently very muddy.
Both Felosa-listada de Hume and Felosa-bilistada have been seen in the reserve in the recent past. Frango-d'água are regularly seen and heard, this site being one of the best sites in the city for this species.
