Descrição
Elliot Burn is an extensive sandy beach just south of Arbroath with dunes, lagoon, marsh, and reedbeds. The area is good for gulls, especially Gaivota-pequena in late summer, also Andorinha-do-mar-rósea then. Also divers, waders, seaducks, auks, migrants and occasionally an otter. Bottlenose dolphins can be seen offshore. The marsh is good for Narceja-comum and Narceja-galega in winter.

Elliot Burn is located south of Arbroath. Accessible by bus, parking on site. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From the parking it is a short walk to sea. There is a wheelchair friendly wooden walkway though crossing the railway line may be an issue. Also a narrow path running inland through the river valley.
