Descrição
The area around Errwood Reservoir is a good site for many upland woodland species such as Papa-moscas-preto, Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca, Petinha-das-árvores and Papa-moscas-cinzento and the best time to visit is in spring when the birds are in song. Felosa-assobiadeira is also present some years. Maçarico-das-rochas, Borrelho-pequeno-de-coleira and Pato-mandarim can be found around the southern end of the reservoir itself and Lagópode-cinzento and Maçarico-real are common on the surrounding moors. Melro-d'água and Alvéola-cinzenta inhabit the stream to the south of the reservoir and several species of raptor can often be seen in flight over the valley.
