Descrição
Frenchman's Rocks is a useful seawatch point in late summer and early autumn, best when a SW or NW wind is blowing. Best views are from the hill next to Wavegen Power Station, called Rubha na Faing on the Ordnance Survey map. There is a car park at Claddach near Currie Sands beach.
Birds to see are Zarro-bastardo, Pato-preto, Mobêlha-grande, Mobêlha-árctica, Mobêlha-pequena, Pardela-preta, Pardela-sombria, Pardela do Mediterrâneo, Painho-de-cauda-forcada, Moleiro-grande, Moleiro-pomarino, Moleiro-parasítico, Andorinha-do-mar-árctica, Gaivota de Sabine, Gaivota-tridáctila, Fuselo, Petinha-marítima, Rola-do-mar and Pilrito-escuro.
