Descrição
The Spit provides a raised viewpoint from which the adjacent marshes and open sea may be viewed. The marshes are tidal and provide habitat to waders such as Maçarico-real, Borrelho-grande-de-coleira and Rola-do-mar with waterfowl such as Pato-branco. The scrub on the Point is home to Petinha-dos-prados and Pintarroxo-comum.

NãoInformação extra
Hurst Castle is sited on Hurst Point and is a popular local destination so the area will be busy during holidays and weekends. This also means that toilets and refreshments are usually available (but check the Hurst Castle website). The marshes may also be viewed from the coastal road to Keyhaven.
