Descrição
The area has a mixture of habitats including more open areas of grassland, a good selection of trees, most of which are best described as being young, including Ash (Fraxinus), Oak (Quercus), Alder (Alnus), Hazel (Corylus), Cherry (Prunus) and Sycamore (Acer) and boundary hedges.
Most birds are of more common species, Cuco-canoro and Felosa-malhada are sometimes seen but more regularly heard and are more than likely to be just passage migrants. Both Felosa-comum and Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto are regular summer visitors and some may overwinter. Felosa-musical are summer visitors and Andorinha-das-chaminés can be seen feeding over the open grass areas.
