Langholm Moor is a beautiful area of heather moorland which has just been bought by the local community, not far from the village of Langholm. It already has breeding Tartaranhão-azulado, Coruja-do-nabal and Esmerilhão, but the community have big plans to protect and increase the breeding birds that make this wonderful place their breeding ground, well worth a trip. Among the other birds you can spot in the area are Tarambola-dourada, falcão-peregrino, Laverca, Petinha-dos-prados, Cartaxo-comum, Chasco-cinzento, Maçarico-real and Melro-de-peito-branco.
