The area around Llanarmon DC is predominantly consisting of managed upland moor and shooting estate with sheep farming. Wonderful landscape with peace and solitude in abundance. Great for seeing Milhafre-real and occasional sightings of Tartaranhão-azulado and Ógea. In early summer you can observe Cuco-canoro ( usually heard rather than seen) and some Maçarico-real pairs on the tops. Melro-d'água along the local streams. Papa-moscas-cinzento nests locally.
