Descrição
Loddon Nature Reserve entails a lake with surrounding trees, familiar to anyone who has visited nearby Dinton Pastures. A path circles the lake and connects with a route to Dinton Pastures along the Loddon river, making the area perfect for birding.
On the lake expect to see Cisne-vulgar, Zarro-negrinha, Pato-trombeteiro and Ganso-comum. In the shallows look out for Pato-mandarim and Galinha-d'água. This is also a good site for seeing woodland birds including Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Trepadeira-do-bosque and Gaio-comum.
