Picturesque Marshfield is a small medieval market town, occupying an exposed position on the dip slope of the southern Cotswolds. The surrounding countryside is a bird friendly area. An extensive network of agricultural land and plenty of stone walls and some hedgerows. Among the birds you can encounter are Trigueirão, Pintarroxo-comum, Codorniz, Escrevedeira-amarela and Milhafre-real.

Marshfield is located 10 miles north fo Bath and 14 miles east of Bristol. You can park in the village. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Bus: the 635 Bristol - Chippenham service operates to/from Marshfield from The Centre (Colston Street) every two hours Mondays to Saturdays. The journey takes about 1 hour. The circular route indicated on the map is about 8,5 km long.
