You can cruise around Puffin Island by joining a boat cruise from Beaumaris. See the website below and follow the link. Landing is not allowed due to danger of rat stowaways coming ashore, these once wiped out the Papagaio-do-mar which are now returning. The only breeding Eider-edredão in Wales. Also Gaivota-tridáctila, Fulmar-glacial, shearwaters, skuas, sea ducks and auks may be seen offshore. Mammals: grey seals, dolphins and porpoises.

By boat from the village of Beaumaris. Price 80-minute Puffin Island Cruise: £ 18 (2022). The main season is the breeding season between April and July. Cruises run daily between April and October. Note: As with all seabirds outside of the breeding season they are only found out at sea, so you will not see Papagaio-do-mar on these cruises outside of the breeding season.
