Reddish Vale Country park spans 161 hectares along the River Tame. Andorinha-das-barreiras and Guarda-rios-comum nest in the river banks. The mill ponds and wetlands are visited by herons, grebes, cormorants, coots and a variety of ducks and geese such as Ganso-comum, Ganso do Canadá, Cisne-vulgar, Pato-mandarim, Pato-real, and other birds like Pombo-doméstico, Pombo-torcaz, melro, Garça-real and Gaio-comum.

Reddish Vale Country Park is located in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Car parks are located at Mill Lane (visitor centre), Tiviot Way and behind Woodhall Drive. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. By train: Reddish South Station is 1 km away. By bus: routes 203, 317 and 374 run near the park (Mill Lane). The area has accessible toilets and a cafe.
